Our boss is a pretty awesome guy.

From humble beginnings as a top geology student in China - when universities had just opened up again after the Cultural Revolution, he came to the United States originally seeking research opportunities. The costs of travel and living proved too high. He immediately realized he had to put his ambitions on hold and work to survive. In his first job as a waiter, he was recruited into insurance where he became a top agent at his company. Seeing that real estate was closely related to his passion of geology, he moved into the field of real estate. Excelling there as well, he quickly went from real estate salesperson to real estate broker and eventually opened his own firm. Doing more and more real estate, he noticed that his clients would often require financing - real estate can be very expensive. So, in pursuing this opportunity, he and his wife started their own mortgage brokerage which has since become the mortgage banker/direct lender that is Ecom Mortgage, Inc. dba Home Loan Mortgage Company today.

At his peak, he became one of the highest producing loan officers in California with over a thousand (1,000!) loans produced in one year - and mostly through referrals and word-of-mouth. His "no-point, no-fee" program thrived in a time when people were looking for an honest mortgage company.

He has been with clients from their 1st home purchase over a decade ago, with 10% down, to their 15th investment property purchase now, with 75% down. He has helped clients and their children, building family estates. So, when we say "Your Wealth is Our Business", we mean it.
